St Annes Pier is also well known for its fine Victorian wrought iron work that is still evident on the pier's superstructure today. The whole ensemble provided a select rendezvous for the towns residents and visiting clientele, an oasis of potted palms and tinkling teacups, all to the strains of a light orchestra. The pier facilities have played host to many famous performers including Gracie Fields, George Formby, Rus Conway and Bob Monkhouse.

Fairhaven-Lake-and-Gardens
Fairhaven Lake is one of the borough's most popular attractions. Nestled between Lytham and St Anne's, a salt water lake, positioned directly on the coast next to Granny's Bay and Stanner Bank. It measures 1200m by 400m and is 1.2m at its deepest.
Enjoy the many recreational facilities provided, motorboat, canoe and rowing boat hire. For the less adventurous there is an electrically powered motor launch, enjoy the cruise and enjoy the scenery from the launch on a 10-15 min cruise.
